Connect or reconnect MPG Books Link
Each company connects separately. An administrator of that company's QuickBooks connects MPG Books Link together with Coleman Dewberry. It can't be connected from this page. Start by emailing coledewberry7@hotmail.com.
How it works
- Email coledewberry7@hotmail.com and name the QuickBooks company.
- Coleman Dewberry starts the connection and sends the administrator a QuickBooks sign-in link. The link works for five minutes, so Coleman Dewberry sends it while you're both on a call.
- The administrator signs in to QuickBooks, picks the company and approves the connection.
- QuickBooks hands the approval to MPG Books Link, and a page on this site confirms the connection. It takes about five minutes in all.
Connecting one company doesn't connect, change or disconnect any other.
When you need to reconnect
- QuickBooks says the connection to MPG Books Link has ended or needs reconnecting.
- Someone disconnected the app in QuickBooks.
- MPG Books Link says it can't reach that company's QuickBooks, and that doesn't clear within a day.
While the app is disconnected, staff can keep working from the files they upload. Anything the app would have recorded in that company's QuickBooks in the meantime is listed for staff to enter by hand.
If the connection didn't finish
The app kept nothing from this attempt. If that company was connected to MPG Books Link before this attempt, leave it connected. Otherwise, if MPG Books Link now shows under Apps in that company, an administrator of that company can disconnect it there. If you aren't sure, ask Coleman Dewberry first. Email coledewberry7@hotmail.com and Coleman Dewberry will send a new sign-in link.
